Opera House Preservation Fund

Celebrating 100 years, the historic Sarasota Opera House was built in 1926, restored in the 1980s, and thoroughly renovated in 2007, and ensuring it remains a cherished landmark in downtown Sarasota.

Sarasota Opera House is owned by and home to Sarasota Opera for its world-class seasonal opera productions, concerts, and Youth Opera programs and productions. Its reputation as an iconic venue for a broad range of performances, lectures, and fundraisers speaks volumes about its importance to the community.
